Autoliitto is a small automobile club, with slightly over 120.000 members and therefore we do not have similar systems and travel services as the American or European automobile clubs have. There are many touristic associations and organisations in Finland for incoming tourists, and therefore Autoliitto’s activities are not focused in this area. Autoliitto’s AL-Shop is open online 24/7. In addition to Autoliitto’s members also members of FIA autoclubs can buy goods at lower prices.

Products can not be delivered abroad. You can find AL Shop’s whole sortiment at Hämeentie 105, Helsinki.

ROAD INFORMATION IN FINLAND

The roads are in rather good condition, except maybe in the Northern-most parts. If you want to have a look at the digital map, please visit the web pages of Finnish Road Administration:

There you can zoom the parts of the map very closely. In these web pages there is also information about rest service area along the main roads. Additionally, the Finnish Road Administration also shows some traffic flow and weather web cameras in their web site.

The Finnish Road Administration also runs telephone inquiry service for road users in number 0200-2100. During daytime they serve also in English.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The best touristic information of Finland derives from the Visit Finland, which is an integral part of Finpro, a registered association almost 100 per cent funded by the Finnish Goverment.

VISIT FINLAND

Visit Finland actively promotes Finnish tourism in its capacity as a national expert in the sector. Visit Finland works closely with ministries, travel businesses, transport companies and Finnish regions. This cooperation involves research, product development and, above all, marketing of leisure tourism to Finland from abroad.
